We are excited to welcome Healthy Smiles Dental Clinic back to Salem School this year for two on-site dental cleanings—one in December and another in June. This service makes it more convenient for parents and students by minimizing the time spent away from work and school.
Last week, students in PreK through 5th grade had a visit from Emma, a dental hygienist, who shared valuable information about dental health and how to protect their teeth. She taught them about the structure of teeth and how the different parts of our mouths work together. After the presentation, all elementary students received a list of tips for avoiding cavities and other dental issues, as well as a yellow parental consent form which gives the option to enroll. The pk1-grade 5 class with the most returned yellow forms will win a healthy snacks party!
Please return the completed consent forms with your child to sign them up for the clinic. High school parents were emailed these forms, and high school students will receive a paper copy in gym class which can be filled out and returned to the high school office.
