Stewart's Shops #10GallonChallenge
Posted on 01/28/2019
Washington County school superintendents are udderly awesome! Throughout the region, schools have been challenged to participate in the #10GallonChallenge, encouraging District Superintendents to donate 10 gallons of Stewart's Shops milk to their community and students.
Mark Fish, Greenwich Central School District
Superintendent, challenged our District Superintendent, Dr. Glover, – and he willingly accepted! Dr. Glover purchased the milk from the Salem Stewart's Shop #157. He then passed the challenge on to Lynne Rutnik at the Lake George Central School District.
This is a wonderful challenge not only for our district, but to support the community as well. Dr. Glover donated the milk to both our school backpack program and the Salem Food Pantry. Lonnie Rasmussen (middle) was able to join Dr. Glover for the photo and brought the milk to the pantry.
Our hope is that every school in the area takes part in the #10GallonChallenge!
