To comply with the Dignity For All Students Act (DASA), the Salem Central School
District has designated Ms. Sharon Varney and Mr. Jared Davis as Dignity
Act Coordinators. Each is thoroughly trained to handle human relations in the
areas of race, color, weight, national origin, ethnic group, religion, religious
practice, disability, sexual orientation, gender (defined to include gender
identity or expression), and sex. Both Ms. Varney and Mr. Davis will be
available to students, staff, and families Monday through Friday in person or by
phone or email.
